Shipping and Order Information

When will my order ship?

We usually ship out orders within 8-10 days.

If your order contains a pre-order, it will ship when the pre-order item(s) have arrived. FHF will contact you if there are any other delays!

The speed at which your items gets to you after it is shipped out is determined by the shipping option you use at checkout.

We cannot guarantee any shipping deadlines due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, but we strive to send out orders in a timely fashion. If you need an order by a certain date, please let us know directly and we will do our best to accommodate!

Where is my package?

When you make a purchase, you will be sent one email with your receipt and then you will receive another email that contains your tracking number once your order has been sent. If you believe your package is late or lost, please contact your local post office. If they are unable to help you, please contact us at freshhotflavors@gmail.com.

Help! I want to change something about my order! My address was wrong / I want to add another item or change the size!

We can assist you! Just reply to your order confirmation email or email us at freshhotflavors@gmail.com with your order number and what you would like to change, and if you caught us before we shipped your order, we can change it for you no problem. If you are adding or removing items, we can send you an invoice or refund you the appropriate amount without having cancel and redo the order.

 I'm from outside of the US, what about customs?

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. FHF is not responsible for delays due to customs. 

I'm from the UK, and your shop says it can't ship to me. Do you ship to the UK?

We currently do not have a UK VAT ID, and so we're unable to directly ship to the UK from this shop. However, since it's a marketplace, Etsy handles VAT for sellers, which means we're still able to ship to the UK through Etsy. Please email us at freshhotflavors@gmail.com with which items and sizes you'd like, and we will set up a custom Etsy listing for you!

What if my order arrives incorrect, damaged, has a hole in the pocket, or has a printing error?

If your order arrives and we have sent you the wrong thing, or it is defective in some way, please contact us at freshhotflavors@gmail.com with your order number and a picture of the items/damages so that we can correct any issues!

What is your refund/exchange policy?

We realize that shopping for clothing online can be difficult. If any clothing doesn't fit or you're otherwise unhappy with your order, you are welcome to send your item back to us for an exchange or refund. Our policies are are follows:

-Returns and exchanges-
Contact FHF within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Returns and exchanges can not be processed beyond these time limits.

-For cancellations-
FHF can only give full refunds if you contact us to cancel your order before it has shippped. If order has shipped, refunds will follow our return policy below.

-For returns-
Returned item refunds will be given minus return shipping costs and a restocking fee of $2 per order. If not returned in original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. This will be reflected in refund amount processed.

-For exchanges-
Buyers are responsible for shipping on exchanged items. Exchange shipping fees will be made payable through Paypal. For safety reasons, we cannot do in-person exchanges to save on shipping even if you are near us.

-Regarding sale items-
Items on sale can not be returned. However, they can be exchanged for the same item in a different size if that item/size is still in stock. Buyers are responsible for shipping on exchanged items.

Care and Washing Instructions

How do I wash the clothing?

For joggers, shorts, skater/mini, midi, and maxi skirts: They are a polyester/spandex blend and do best with:

1. Cool/cold wash
2. Tumble/hang dry, if you want to preserve them for the longest amount of time.

They are pretty sturdy for the most part though, and for our personal collection of skirts we have washed and dried them normally with our usual laundry loads without incident - just do so at your own risk - we don't know how powerful your particular washing machine is!

KEEP THEM AWAY FROM: Velcro/hook and loop (hook side), concrete, or any other rough surface; this will pill the fabric permanently.

For Petticoats: These are 100% polyester, so watch out for high heat. Here is an in depth guide on how to wash a petticoat, but otherwise:

1. Cool or cold water, in a laundry bag, by itself or with other delicates on a delicate cycle
2. Air dry flat on a towel
3. Finish with low heat in a dryer for just a few minutes for maximum poof!

Who runs this shop?

Fresh Hot Flavors is run by three artists and two fry dragons living in Dallas, Texas. We also have a list of guest artists who we sell for. You can find out more about all of us on our About Us page!

Where do these things come from?

We designed everything you see in this shop! You can see which artist is responsible for which designs in the product listings. 

How do I know what will fit me?

Check out our Size Charts and Model Gallery page here! We have pictures of different size people wearing the same size of most items to help you get an idea of what size fits what body types.

Will you be at a convention near me?

We usually do not do conventions anymore. If we do, we'll announce it in our email newsletter.

I saw/purchased an item you have for sale somewhere else! What's going on with that?

We understand your confusion! Our artists also sell things individually at conventions and online outside of Fresh Hot Flavors. We sell here, on Etsy, and on Redbubble. If you see something of ours listed on a different site or not under our artist's usernames, please email us a link at freshhotflavors@gmail.com so we can take care of it!

If I have an allergy, are your items safe for me?

All of our clothing is a polyester spandex blend. We also ship from a dog-friendly home. We try to keep pets away from the merchandise, but things happen. If you have an extreme dog allergy, you may be at risk.
